Mentoring can make a huge impact on a child, an adult, and the community. Two Bellevue mentors are being remembered after changing the lives of so many.
Willis and Fran Regier started volunteering with the TeamMates Mentoring Program in its conception in 1991. Over the course of three decades, they have mentored several youth, two of whom were present went Willis accepted the award on behalf of Fran who passed away two years ago.
The TeamMates Mentoring Program’s mission is to impact the world by inspiring youth to reach their full potential. Mentors are matched with mentees based on personal experiences and interests. They meet during school hours and work on projects together, eat lunch, play games, and talk about life once a week.
We are proud to recognize Fran and Willis for their commitment to youth and dedication to the Bellevue TeamMates program.
