The Mission of TeamMates is to positively impact the world by inspiring youth to reach their full potential through mentoring.
TeamMates is a one to one school-based mentoring program where 3rd – 12th grade students are matched with a caring adult, that will meet with them once a week during the school year.
The Holt County TeamMates Chapter was organized in September of 2006. Pictured here are some current and former Board of Directors; Mike Hammerlun, Ellen Boshart, Nicole Sedlacek, Linda Olson (Former), Ryan Parks (Former), Kris Harvey, Chapter Coordinator – Connie Gildersleeve, Amy Shane and Sara Twibell. As a team, we believe that any child that wants a mentor should have one and therefore, strive to make the best possible matches, for a mentoring relationship that will last through the student’s high school graduation.
Active Holt County Schools
The following schools in Holt County currently have 21 combined TeamMates matches in place; O’Neill High School, O’Neill Elementary, O’Neill St. Mary’s and Atkinson West Holt. Our goal is to have 30+ matches meeting on a regular basis by the end of the 2014-15 school year.
